What is a cup sleeve event?
Cup sleeves are generally fan events hosted by fans to celebrate! Usually they come with a free cup sleeve upon purchasing a drink from the venue. But each cup sleeve is slightly different from the other, so be sure to follow and abide by the rules.
Is this event free to attend?
Yes, this event is free to attend! To receive a cup sleeve, we do ask that you make any drink purchase at Freshly Leaf in support of hosting our event. Otherwise, all games and activities are free to participate in! We will have themed merch bundles that you can purchase for charity, but that is completely optional. Please enjoy your time here.
Is there a dress code?
We encourage cosplay but please note that the venue is a place where family can be at, so please be respectful and keep things family friendly.
Will there be karaoke?
There will not be karaoke at this time. But the venue has allowed us to play the Alien Stage songs during our event. You are free to sing along but please keep your volume at a respectable noise level.
Are we allowed to have more than one cup sleeve?
You can get one cup sleeve per drink you order. If you don't want to purchase another drink, you may get extras if there are any at the end of the event. I would like everyone to be able to get a chance to get a cup sleeve if they want it first.
Can other people from out of state come?
We won't stop you, but this isn't a huge cup sleeve event. If you want to make time to come and mingle with other fans, we highly encourage it! We thank you for your support either way.
Will we have specialized drinks that match the theme?
Yes, we will at least have one drink for this event. I'm currently in communications with the venue for other potential items.
What can we expect going to this cup sleeve?
You can expect meeting other fans, seeing a "cast" cosplaying group, photo ops area, vendors/artists, games and lots of fun with other fans! As for the activities, they are still in the works!
Who is the host and/or is part of this team?
The host is DJ and you can contact her via instagram if you have any questions, comments or concerns. The rest of the staff are volunteers so please be kind to them. Thank you!
Why are you donating to Second Harvest Heartland?
We decided with Second Harvest Heartland because we wanted to focus on helping kids with hunger. From our research, we felt that this was the best to donate to a local food bank to help our fellow communities.
